Pot Magnets

Comes in wide variety of ranges,  Magnet Electronics offers you pot magnets from small (it can lift up to 400gm) to large sizes( can be lift able up to hovering 130kg). Not only has that, these magnets also comes in extensive ranges of different diameters and heights.  We also specialize in making pot magnets of different shapes and sizes also, depending on your requirements. Rather manufacturing those usual ones, we at Magnet Electronics also offer seven types of different pot magnets. In Magnet Electronics, we will also find pot magnets in silver (furnished with chrome, zinc or nickel), white paint finish, a red paint finish, black rubber coated finish and ferritic stainless steel finish.

Our pot magnets play an essential role in numerous applications. These magnets can be very useful in extreme cold conditions (In theory towards absolute zero) and play equally productive role during extreme heat as well.

In low moisture content, our all pot magnets are very useful in ambient temperature applications. NdFeB Pot Magnets are considering as the best in pulling up maximum strength that too with a small size. In fact, all our pot magnets offers handful of benefits, depending on different applications, here are few of these magnets and their usages, which are as follows:

1) Ferrite Pot Magnets are useful for corrosion resistance, marine, low cost and higher temperature applications.

2) Alnico Pot Magnet is very effective, which can work on different higher temperature applications and where the pull force needs to change as little as possible with temperature variation. Alnico Pot Magnets are also useful in corrosion resistance applications.

3) SmCo Pot Magnets have high resistance and it can work on extreme temperature applications and marine / corrosion resistance applications.

These magnets also come in rubber coating in order to provide that extra friction to minimize the slipping across the clamped surface. To offer reduced slip, these magnets have secured vertical surface with a clamp. For note, the pull force values, based upon the Pot Magnet working at maximum magnetic specification clamping onto a much bigger high magnetic permeability mild steel base and the force stated is that required to guarantee removing the Pot Magnet on every occasion.

Clamping onto thin sheet could result in a reduced clamping force as the thin ferromagnetic sheet magnetically saturates. Clamping through an ‘effective air gap’ also significantly reduces the pull force. However, the temperature characteristics of the magnets, directly affect upon pull force (above ambient temperatures result in reduced pull forces – the amount of reduction depends on the magnet material in the Pot Magnet).

For marine applications, we have some specially designed pot magnets, which can resist any extreme-to-extreme temperature range for magnets. To provide strong pot magnet with much improved corrosion resistance, we have come up with new formula, which is a combination of ferromagnetic stainless steel with SmCo to provide a strong Pot Magnet with improved corrosion resistance and with a stable pull force over a very wide temperature range. The extreme performance characteristics make it a superb choice where the application has to work in extreme environments.
